London’s famous Honourable Artillery Company, known as the HAC was founded in 1537 by Henry VIII. This 18th-century mansion is an outstanding venue unlike any other in London. Situated in Finsbury Barracks, there are elegant, versatile spaces for hire surrounded by five acres of green space, right in the heart of London.
For outside events, the Artillery Garden really is a winner, an exclusive five acres of stunning parkland, it's a luxury practically unheard of in central London. The garden can accommodate large numbers of guests, up to 5000 in fact, making it perfect for balls, BBQs, summer parties and more. The garden is usually home to the HAC Cricket Club during summer months and is used for rugby and football during the winter.
The Artillery Garden is usually used along with the Prince Consort Rooms which is also available for hire and can hold up to 700 guests for a reception or buffet. These two spaces combine to create the ultimate corporate event experience.
This summer the spaces have been transformed into the 'Secret Garden', with packages including hire of the Prince Consort Rooms and the Terrace, plenty of room for garden games and of course, a BBQ.
There are also fantastic spaces for dining options such as the Long Room and The Queen’s Room & Ante Room are available for individual or combined hire. The Queen’s Room is located on the ground floor of the Armoury House, a great neighbouring space to the Prince Consort Rooms.
A light and an airy meeting room that is the ideal city venue for meetings, conferences, or dining. The Ante Room is also available to hire along with the Queen’s Room. The Ante Room will seat up to 50 people for theatre-style or 24 for boardroom style. As opposed to the Queen’s Room, which can hold up 60 people.
The Library and Boardroom and the Medal room are ideal for intimate dinner events. In these spaces, some of them are more intimate and only allow up to 60, as opposed to the long room which allows up to 250.
The Long Room is a oak-panelled room that really shows off the magnificence of both the Armoury House and the HAC. It is up to you to decide if you want your guests at a seated dinner, reception or another form of event to find out what the capacity is. Available for exclusive evening hire on weekdays, it’s also available on weekends during the day for most events.
