Gallery 16
Gallery 16 is home to our collection of artworks by LS Lowry and Adolphe Valette. It is a bright gallery space with white walls and wooden flooring, ideal for photoshoots. Gallery 16 is the perfect backdrop for fashion or bridal shoots. Private access can be accommodated outside of gallery opening hours.
Victorian Galleries
Located in the city centre, Manchester Art Gallery has been used as a backdrop for clothing brands, bridal boutiques and TV shows. The Victorian Galleries feature high ceilings, wooden floors, and brightly coloured walls adorned with Pre-Raphaelite artworks. Private access can be accommodated outside gallery opening times. Hire outside opening hours includes access to the entire gallery and crew rooms and catering can be accommodated upon request.

The Atrium is a bright space constructed of glass and connects the two older buildings that make up Manchester Art Gallery. The two mirror image Meeting Rooms (Rutherston and Greg) are suitable for boardroom meetings, conferences or training sessions for up to 18 delegates.
