An atmospheric space, Gallery 10 can host 80 for a decadent private dinner, 100 for a theatre-style presentation or 120 for a lavish birthday party, reception, exhibition, filming or photo shoot. The Gallery's friendly and experienced events team can provide guided tours of galleries, exquisite refreshments and bespoke menus to satisfy a range of dietary requirements and palates.
Victorian Galleries
Following an exclusive civil partnership or wedding reception, guests can enjoy a drinks reception in the highly romantic Pre-Raphaelite gallery before adjourning to the Atrium for the wedding breakfast and further celebration. It is a glorious gallery, displaying pieces from some of the leading Pre-Raphaelite artists.

The Atrium is a contemporary space which is a beautiful counterpoint to the Museum's Victorian architecture. It is spacious and versatile, able to accommodate up to 200 guests for a spectacular reception, dinner dance, Summer or Christmas party. The dedicated events team can organise guided tours of the phenomenal galleries and diverse temporary exhibitions. The space is filled with light and guests can spill outside on to the terraces in the summer months.

Part of the original 1823 Royal Manchester Institution, the Victorian Hall meeting rooms can be dressed in the evening to create an intimate private dining space for up to 18 people. The galleries partnership with high-end paint company Farrow & Ball offers a constantly updated colour scheme in the space, all from their range of heritage colours, bringing the period features of the space to life.

Contemporary meeting room, available for daytime corporate events including assessment centres, away days, conferences, interviews, meetings, and training workshops. The room features AV equipment, natural daylight, blackout facility, free wi-fi and an adaptable room layout. Energising refreshments can be served in the Lecture Room or in the Atrium breakout area.

Beautiful panelled rooms with huge windows looking out over St Peters Square, the Drawing Rooms are filled with light and food related art from the gallery collections. A flexible space, the two rooms can be used for private dining, receptions and breakfasts either individually or combined for additional capacity. With wooden floors and period features the venue offers a charming backdrop filled with character for your event.

Located in the city centre, Manchester Art Gallery has been the backdrop for fashion brands, Netflix series, and bridal boutiques. Featuring stone floors, a glass lantern and an ornate staircase, the Victorian Hall is a unique space filled with natural light. Private access can be accommodated outside gallery opening hours and includes access to all gallery spaces.
