Stanley Hall

The stunning Art Nouveau Stanley Hall can seat up to 180 guests at tables for dining or 200 audience members in rows. Alternatively the hall can hold up to 300 people standing. At the back of the hall is an upper balcony which has a further 100 cinema-style seats giving a total max capacity of 400. There is a fully licenced bar available for public events in the Gallery, right next to the Stanley hall. With a light and well ventilated space it is also a great location for wedding ceremonies and receptions, daytime conferences, meetings and large scale rehearsals

The Society Room is an attractive multi-use room which retains original Edwardian features including tiled fireplaces and patterned ceramic tiling. Perfectly situated within the historic Stanley Arts venue in South London, this versatile space is ideal for business meetings, workshops, and corporate events. Equipped with modern AV technology and high-speed WiFi, it seamlessly blends vintage charm with contemporary functionality. The Society Room is also LGBTQ+ friendly, featuring gender-neutral restrooms and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring an inclusive environment for all attendees.

Yard Bar

The Stanley Yard Bar is on the lower level of the decked area in the middle of Stanley Arts back yard. This large open yard is a flexible space which is used in the summer for outdoor gigs and stand up comedy. The Yard Bar is available for exclusive hire for parties, performances and gigs – either as a standalone space or as an extension to one of our adjoining indoor spaces. Standing as it does in the centre of Stanley Arts the Yard Bar and decking is directly accessible from the main Stanley Hall, the Society Room, the Scene Dock and the Living Room

Living Room

Capacity: Up to 30 Standing guests

The Living Room sits in the heart of the Stanley Arts complex in South Norwood. This delightful little meeting place is open for business most days. Outside of the day-to-day business, The Living Room is also available for hire for small events, little parties and even filming. Its seating area can be used in the evenings for everything from small scale comedy gigs to drag show viewing parties.
