Carousel

Carousel is a unique venue in the heart of Marylebone, split over 3-beautifully designed floors. Upstairs is light, bright and airy and perfect for smaller parties, exhibitions and meetings. Downstairs houses our bigger events: weddings, conferences and private dinners, with a stripped back, polished concrete floor and an industrial finish. The Kitchen at Carousel plays host to an ever-changing line-up of culinary talents from around the world. Grace Dent reviewed us in ES Magazine, and wrote 'if I hadn't been, I'd have missed some of the greatest cooking I've tasted this year'.

Summer Garden

Our much-loved, south-facing Garden is now available to hire for summer lunches for up to 25 guests and balmy early-evening drinks parties or receptions for up to 40 people. If you're looking for something more than just an outdoor drinking area, hiring our Upstairs Space automatically gives you free rein of the Garden too. You'll have the versatility of having an indoor and outdoor area that can accommodate up to 100 guests. Carousel Next Door

Offering 3,300 sq ft of high footfall, high visibility retail and event space right on Baker Street, Carousel Next Door is the dream venue for your next concept sore, fashion show, product launch, sample sale, art exhibition or pop up cafe. With floor to ceiling windows at street level, elegant wooden floors throughout and clean white walls, it's an ultra-flexible blank canvas space that can accommodate up to 300 guests at a time. And with neighbouring Carousel just a few yards away you can also add all of our award winning food and drink, staffing and production into the equation.

Kitchen

The industrial finish to our 50-seater restaurant is versatile and minimalist, and the space is available for dry-hire in special circumstances. Our restaurant is normally open for lunch (12-2.30pm) and dinner (one sitting at 7.30pm) from Tuesday to Saturday. The Carousel kitchen is available for dry-hire in special circumstances.

Carousel is the latest addition to Marylebone's burgeoning restaurant scene. For the next five years, chef Ollie Templeton and his team will be playing host to an ever-changing line-up of culinary talents from around the world. We've had Javier Rodríguez (Noma, Viajante, Tetsuya's, Restaurant Andre), Giorgio Locatelli (Locanda Locatelli), Tommy Forster (St John, Bocca di Lupo, Trullo, Roberta's, Clamato), Paris Pop-Up (Frenchie, El Celler de Can Roca) and Selin Kiazim (Kopapa, Providores). Grace Dent says, 'if I hadn't gone, I'd have missed some of the greatest cooking I've tasted this year'.

Head chef Ollie Templeton (Moro) and his team (ex-St John Bread & Wine, Trullo, Scott's and Moro) can provide mouth-watering menus - choose from our sample menus or our chefs are happy to collaborate to create something bespoke. Whether it's breakfast, canapes, brunch, homemade cakes to have with your afternoon tea or a more formal 3-course sit-down meal; our chefs use only the finest, freshest, in-season and locally sourced produce. Our catering is what really sets us apart from other venues.

Our Upstairs space is the perfect blank-canvas space for events of all shapes and sizes. The centrepiece handmade table seats 30 people for conferences or presentations but take it away and you've got space for up to 110 people standing, 80 seated theatre-style of up to 60 guest for a sit down meal. This industrial, Scandinavian-style space is ideal for press events, workshops, private dining, book launches, art exhibitions, delegate days and away-days.

Christmas

For both our Christmas themes our head chef Ollie Templeton (Moro) and his right hand men will create delicious, seasonal menus tailor made for your party. We can do anything from canapes & bowl food to a 3 course meal served on our rustic wooden sharing tables. What works really well at Carousel is to hire both of our floors to allow you to have a quiet reception area Upstairs and then your dancing Downstairs.

This Christmas at Carousel we have two unique options available for Christmas parties. 'Do as the Nordics do' in our Upstairs space with it's stripped-back Scandi style Nordic cabin complete with naked wood, minimalist foliage and flickering candlelight. The ideal refuge from tinsel, novelty reindeer ears and Shakin' Stevens. Or join us Downstairs for fairy tales after dark in our Geppetto's Workshop - a humble yet inviting little corner featuring higgledy-piggledy shelves of all different heights laden with marvellous looking objects. A strangely magical setting for a Christmas party.
