Set on 32 acres of stunning grounds near Kirkliston, the castle offers 21 luxury bedrooms across three distinct accommodation areas: 9 individually designed suites in the main castle building, 5 contemporary rooms in the Gate Lodge, and 7 newly converted luxury ensuite rooms in the historic Stables building. The castle is an award-winning event venue, recognized as one of the Top 3 venues in Europe (under 200 bedrooms), winner of the UK Wedding Awards 2020 for Best Castle Wedding Venue, and featured in Grazia Magazine's Eight Best Wedding Venues Worldwide. The property is certified as a B Corporation (score 83.4) and the first castle in Europe to achieve this certification, emphasizing sustainability and community engagement. Carlowrie offers seven distinct event spaces: the intimate Piano Room (25 pax), the Orangery (100 pax), Library Bar, Drawing Room and Dining Room, the garden Marquee (300-500 pax), expansive grounds, and main castle rooms. With 55 dedicated staff members, award-winning Executive Chef David Millar (Scottish Chef of the Year 2025) overseeing catering, comprehensive WiFi coverage, on-site parking for 150 vehicles with 2 EV chargers, and full wheelchair accessibility, the venue excels at accommodating corporate events, board meetings, team-building activities, and conferences.
