The Grade II-listed Victorian building was originally built in 1864 and has a Regency-style stucco front façade, original mirrors and chandeliers. The hotel has 116 bedrooms, including Classic Rooms, Privilege Sea View Rooms, Privilege Sea View Rooms with Balcony, Privilege Rooms in The Mews and Junior Suites. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Guests can dine at Coastal, the on-site bistro-style restaurant, bar and terrace, which serves locally inspired dishes such as Sussex Smokies. The hotel offers room service, 24-hour reception, group rates, room blocks for groups, catering for events, early check-in and late check-out. It is wheelchair accessible. For events, the hotel has five meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 120 delegates. Parking is available in a small chargeable car park at the rear, on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations, and additional parking can be found at Regency Square.
