The Tomlinson Centre

A historic wedding venue with capacity for 150 guests in a bright, airy space with warm decor.

Get married at the Newington Green Meeting House, one of the birthplaces of modern Western feminism.

We welcome weddings with arms open. The Meeting House has a capacity for 150 in the pews on the ground floor and 20 on the mezzanine floor. 

The mezzanine is a perfect spot for a small choir if you are planning on a choir at your service.

The building has lots of natural light from the windows set high in the double height exterior walls. The space is bright and airy with warm decor.

Please note that the pews cannot be moved around.

Regent's Canal Workshop

A versatile community hall in a historic building, ideal for arts events, parties, and corporate functions.

The Mill Co Project's Community Hall is located in the Rose Lipman Building, a local landmark was a spot for area artists to practice their craft in the 1960s. The Hall is still used to showcase the arts, but is also available for hire as an event space for Christmas parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, receptions, and so on. The large open space lends itself to large gatherings, and chairs and trestle tables, a PA system, and stage lighting are available. We also have a kitchen and storage space onsite for the use of our guests.

Mill Co. Rose Lipman

A versatile, light-filled hall ideal for creative rehearsals, workshops, and community events.

Whether it is for creative , classes, workshops, dance, circus, music or theatre rehearsals, the main hall is a fantastically versatile space. Its high ceiling make it a perfect space for circus artists. The natural light coming in the space also creates an ideal and inspiring environment for training and creation. We also have a dance lino (8 x 12m) available on request for dance artists. Access to the kitchen area also allows artists and customers to prepare lunch and hot beverages.
