Frequently asked questions

The Strength Studio (which appears to be the Arts space with equipment) is £80 per hour or £285 for a 4-hour half-day rate. These rates are for dry hire only and do not include additional services or equipment beyond what's already available in the space.

The space includes mats, yoga blocks, and hanging bars suitable for suspending gymnastic rings. There are no weights available on-site, so you'll need to bring your own if required for your class or workshop.

The venue cannot accommodate heated classes requiring temperatures of 30°C or higher. When a customer requested hot pilates, they were redirected to a sister venue (Chocolate Studios) that can achieve the required temperature levels.

The space can accommodate up to 20 people for workshops and fitness classes. For specialized equipment like gymnastic rings, only 2-3 sets can be suspended from the steel beam, which may limit capacity for aerial or ring-based classes.

Weekend availability is limited due to in-house classes running throughout Saturday. The venue prioritizes their own programming during peak weekend hours, so availability depends on gaps in their existing schedule.

Morning slots are generally unavailable due to existing classes. Afternoon sessions are more readily available, with the venue specifically mentioning afternoon use for weekend workshops. Weekday late lunchtime slots (around 2-3pm) may also be available.

Multi-day bookings are possible, with the venue quoting for weekend workshops spanning Saturday and Sunday. However, availability depends on their existing class schedule, and they may not be able to accommodate full 7-hour days as requested by some clients.

Yes, the space includes clear wall space suitable for handstand practice and other wall-based exercises. This makes it appropriate for bodyweight strength training, flexibility work, and handstand workshops.

If Waking Dreams cannot meet your needs, they will actively help find alternative venues. They have sister venues including Chocolate Studios in Shoreditch and The Arc in Islington, and will redirect enquiries to more suitable spaces when necessary.

Regular weekly slots may be available, but peak times are already filled with in-house classes. Options include weekday late lunchtime slots (2-3pm) or later Saturday evening slots, depending on your specific requirements and their existing schedule.
