Garden Court at The Frick Collection

The Garden Court is a serene oasis located at the heart of the Frick Collection's main floor, designed by architect John Russell Pope in the 1930s. This beautiful space features stately columns, a central fountain, and a laylight ceiling, providing a tranquil environment for visitors to relax amidst select sculptures and lush greenery. Ideal for hosting a variety of events, the Garden Court is perfect for intimate gatherings, receptions, and art exhibitions, allowing guests to enjoy a unique blend of nature and art. The recent renovation has restored its original features and enhanced the atmosphere with energy-efficient lighting and a fresh mix of palms and annuals, making it a delightful venue for any occasion.

Frick Madison (945 Madison Ave. at 75th St.) is a temporary venue for the Frick Collection, which showcases European fine and decorative arts from the Renaissance to the late 19th century. Founded in 1935, it features works by artists like Bellini and Rembrandt. The Frick Art Research Library supports art research and is open to the public. The venue hosts various events and engages with local communities, offering free admission to students and programs for underserved communities, making it a unique choice for culturally significant events.
