We've had a flurry of interest since we announced EventLAB a few months ago, which has got us pretty excited (just 5 months to go!).
The event is designed to take planners through every step of the event planning process, through masterclasses, workshops and networking with the best in the biz.
EventLAB will also showcase the top venues and suppliers from across the industry, so we thought we'd give you a bit of an insight into the first few that came onboard the EventLAB train.
The Brewery has consistently been recognised as one of London’s leading venues for over half a decade, having hosted events ranging from government conferences and corporate product launches to star-studded charity events and prestigious award ceremonies.
With an enviable City location, the venue has a choice of six rooms that cater for anything from 10 to 1000 people. The spaces are careful to preserve and enhance the 18th-century architecture whilst catering to modern events with cutting-edge technology.
One of the most exciting new openings this summer, The Postal Museum is a brand new heritage attraction and unique subterranean event space. Most importantly, for the inner children in us all, there's also an underground ride, Mail Rail, that takes you through the 100-year-old secret tunnels.
The impressive, industrial space boasts vaulted arches and original exposed brickwork. The blank-canvas nature of the space makes it highly adaptable and allows for loads of creativity. The space has capacity for 275 standing and 140 seated and can be used for pretty much anything, think product launches, fashion shows, dinners, award ceremonies...the list goes on.
The Postal Museum itself also has spaces available for smaller events, receptions or a bit of networking with the added benefit of a private courtyard.
Wine is pretty great, and Humble Grape is pretty great at showing that off. Originally an independent wine merchant, they source from relatively unknown vineyards from around the world. Mostly biodynamic, organic or sustainably produced, the wines also often come with interesting stories, making them extra-special.
Anyway, enough about the wine, onto the venues. Humble Grape currently has two, one in Battersea and one just off Fleet Street. The wine is a big feature, you can drink in or take away (by the case, if you fancy) or enjoy it accompanied by food.
The walls are adorned with wine bottles for you to explore too in the beautifully designed space. It's bright and airy with exposed brickwork, hanging lights and lovely wooden tables. The main space can hold up to 130 people for any number of events, whilst the private dining room is perfect for around 15 for an intimate dinner or perhaps a wine tasting with your team.
Part of the Royal Horticultural Halls, Lindley Hall is a stunning Grade II listed, blank-canvas venue. The glass vaulted ceiling is the focal point of the space, adding height and letting in heaps of natural daylight for that wow-factor first impression.
The period features provide a charming backdrop whilst leaving the opportunity for total create control of the blank space. The Hall is perfectly suited to fashion shows, product launches and weddings, it's even used as an exam hall. The possibilites are endless.
Venues are just the start of an event, bringing everything together with catering and entertainment can be the key to turning a good event into an unforgettable one.
