San Mateo County Event Center

The center has partnered with the San Mateo County Human Services Agency to launch an Inclement Weather Program, providing essential refuge and aid during harsh weather conditions. This program will serve vulnerable individuals in the community, offering meals, basic necessities, and essential services. The Event Center is set to undergo over $20 million in infrastructure upgrades, including a community kitchen, dining hall, and on-site laundry facilities, making it uniquely equipped to support those in need during extreme weather events. With trained staff and volunteers on-site, the center ensures that individuals accessing the shelter receive necessary care and connections to additional support services.
