Austin Parks Foundation
Since 1992, the Austin Parks Foundation has worked to enhance Austin's parks, trails, and green spaces by providing resources, programming, and funding for community access. They create volunteer opportunities and manage capital improvement projects. Colony Park District Park, a 93-acre space on Austin's East Side, promotes recreation and healthy living with multi-use trails, sports fields, and a fitness plaza. Opened in 2017, it serves as a hub for outdoor activities and community events, developed in collaboration with local organizations.
