GB Production's Theater

The North Park Playwright Festival is an annual event hosted at North Park Vaudeville and Candy Shoppe, dedicated to showcasing brand new, short plays written by playwrights from around the world. The festival provides a platform for emerging directors and actors to showcase their talents, with over 600 new plays produced in the past seventeen years. The festival focuses on small, easily staged plays with minimal sets and casts of no more than four people. Submissions are encouraged to be complete plays rather than excerpts, and the selection process is done by directors within budget guidelines. The festival aims to support new work and involve artists of all experience levels, fostering a learning environment for all participants.
