About this space
The original purpose of the Broad Street Ballroom, located just one block south of the Stock Exchange, was as a bank. The Broad Street Ballroom opened in 1929 as Lee, Higginson and Co, a short-lived enterprise that quickly fell victim to the Stock Market Crash. In 2006, the Broad Street Ballroom was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
