Burdett Suite

The grand and versatile setting is perfect for large-scale dining experiences and banquets for up to 240. The diverse lighting has the ability to change the mood of the room through the use of spot, LED and stage lighting. Depending on the event you can remove or build a bespoke stage to suit your evening, the stage is fully accessible with a portable lift. Adjacent to the Burdett Suite is the Orangery and Courtyard which offers the perfect space for a drinks reception prior to guests being called for dinner. For those events with the WOW factor, a private entrance can be added to the event.

The Orangery is a beautiful, modern conservatory that can sit up to 120 for private dining, with a tranquil walled courtyard garden, surrounded by a magnificent living wall that can hold up to 120 for a pre-dinner drinks reception. The Orangery is self contained space and comes with a private bar and entrance off Cavendish Square. If hosting a larger dinner or event in the Burdett Suite the ground floor of the venue offers flexibility in your planning to utilise the rooms you need. Our caterers, Searcy's place a huge importance on sustainability with over 20 pledges made in 2023.
President's Suite

The Presidents room is a grand Georgian dining room draped with high sash windows overlooking Cavendish Square The historic features create a soothing atmosphere for intimate events/dinners and include a marble fireplace, decorative cornicing, chandeliers and an impressive oak dining table. The space has the option to add a private entrance offering guests the wow factor. On arrival guests are greeted by a red carpet and a magnificent staircase that spans the entire townhouse with a glass canopy sitting as an elegant crown at the pinnacle. The room can hold up to 22 for private dining.
Maynard Theatre

The Garden room is located in the Grade II listed Georgian town house part of the venue and overlooks both Cavendish Square and our Courtyard Garden. The rooms original purpose was a traditional library and research resource before being revamped into a stunning space perfect for Wedding ceremonies. The room has 3 beautiful fireplaces, chandeliers and a stunning cornice. The space can accommodate up to 110 for a ceremony before moving in to our Orangery for the Wedding Breakfast.
