The room boasts an abundance of natural light but benefits from full blackout facility when required.
The Royal Festival Hall is a stunning venue which can seat up to 2,500 guests in a fixed raked seated auditorium. The Hall boasts a state of the art stage and rig, a large number of back of house areas and many of the original 1950s features. Room 30 houses the Gallery's most iconic Spanish paintings by artists such as Veláquez and Zurbarán, including the fabled Rokeby Venus. Situated just beyond the Central Hall, Room 30 is a perfect space that can host an elegant reception for up to 300 guests or a dinner for 220 guests.

The glass domed roof allows daylight to illuminate the celebrated paintings, which include The Progress of Human Knowledge, by James Barry. The room is air-conditioned and can be completely blacked out for presentations.
