Booking holds vary significantly - some are held for just 2 days, others for up to 5 days, with specific deadlines like "until Friday 21st March 10am" or "until tomorrow at 2pm." First option bookings typically require faster confirmation than shared option bookings. Signed contracts and payment are required to secure definite bookings.

First option bookings give you priority to confirm the space, while shared option means multiple clients may be holding the same dates and space. With shared options, the first client to request and sign a contract gets the space on a definite basis. The venue can move bookings from shared to first option based on availability.

Tea/coffee with sweet or savoury snacks cost £5 per person per serving. For events requiring drinks and nibbles, there's a minimum spend of £1,500. Restaurant lunch reservations can be arranged with bills settled on consumption. All beverage orders incur an additional 13.5% service charge.

All meeting rooms include complimentary WiFi, LCD screens/projectors, and basic presentation equipment. The Orient Suite has a drop-down screen and ceiling-mounted LCD, while smaller rooms have plasma screens. Flipcharts are available upon request. The venue can accommodate presentations and basic microphone/PA setups for speakers.

Yes, additional smaller rooms can be booked as breakout spaces. For example, The Ghan Suite can be added as an optional breakout room for £400 including VAT when booking a main meeting room. The Blue Boardroom is also available as a syndicate room for multi-day events.

If you don't provide feedback within the specified timeframe, bookings are automatically released from the system. The venue requires active confirmation to proceed with bookings. For last-minute requests, the venue may decline due to insufficient time for handover to the hotel team, especially over weekends when the events office is closed.
