The Great Hall, a grand and captivating space, reaches an impressive 28ft in height and extends over 115ft in length. Centrally located within BMA House on the first floor, it offers a scenic overlook of the main Courtyard from its inviting balcony.

This space truly shines for business and conferences, boasting luxurious retractable seating and top-tier AV equipment, perfect for dynamic presentations and powerful keynote speeches. The room enjoys an influx of natural light, ideal for fostering productivity and engagement, while the full blackout facility is available for AV purposes.




Frequently asked questions

The Tudor Hart room accommodates up to 14 boardroom style for £660+VAT, while the Anderson room holds 22 boardroom for similar pricing. The Bevan Suite accommodates 150 theatre/77 cabaret, and the Great Hall holds 294 theatre/160 cabaret with DDR packages starting from £90-95+VAT per person. Minimum numbers typically apply - 40 for dining packages, 70-120 for DDR packages depending on the room.

Most spaces require minimum catering spends: £250+VAT for lunch in smaller rooms like Tudor Hart, £3,500+VAT for larger events, and £90+VAT per person for fine dining packages. External caterers are not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. Day Delegate Rates include arrival refreshments, mid-morning breaks, lunch, and afternoon tea.

Room hire includes data projector, screen, flipchart, and PA system with up to 3-8 microphones depending on the space. The Great Hall features extensive AV including high-powered projectors, multiple microphones, staging, lighting, and full-day technical support. Additional technicians cost £450+VAT per day for complex events requiring heavy editing or more than 4 lapel mics.

Enquiries typically expire in the venue's system after specific deadlines - usually 10-14 days from initial quote. The venue experiences high demand and recommends confirming bookings promptly to secure dates. Response times for enquiries are currently 1-2 days due to high volume.

Garden spaces close at 22:00 but events can continue in indoor rooms until 23:00. The Garden and Garden room can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm for certain event sizes. Most day events run 9am-5pm with 8am access available for setup. Wedding packages include access from 14:00-23:30 with earlier supplier access.

The Garden and Garden room combination has a maximum of 90 guests for summer events, while some enquiries for 120+ guests cannot be accommodated in this space. The venue has spaces ranging from 14 people (Tudor Hart) up to 300+ (Great Hall), but specific room availability depends on your guest count and event requirements.

The third floor is wheelchair accessible but requires use of a wheelchair lift once on the floor to access rooms like the Bevan Suite. The wheelchair lift has weight limits that may be unsuitable for electric wheelchairs, so details of wheelchair users must be provided in advance for assessment.

Registered charities may receive discounted rates - for example, DDR packages reduced from £95+VAT to £90+VAT per person. The venue considers budget constraints for charitable organizations and may offer reduced pricing on room hire and packages when charity status is confirmed.

Wedding venue hire costs £6,600 for spaces like Prince's Room, Snow Room, Garden and Garden Room with access 14:00-23:30. The Lavender Package costs £170 per person including two welcome proseccos, four canapes, three-course wedding breakfast with wine, toast drink, and evening food truck, with minimum numbers of 40 applying.
