2. BMA House

Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, BMA House is a remarkable building that creates an impressive backdrop for your next conference. Once inside, this spacious venue boasts multiple versatile spaces to create the perfect flow to your event. For the main sessions, the Great Hall ideally accommodates up to 300 delegates and offers luxurious seating, state-of-the-art in-built AV, natural light and breathtaking views over the main Courtyard.

This venue is also leading the charge for sustainability in London, boasting a Gold Green Tourism accreditation and Hire Space’s own ‘Greenest Venue’ award in 2018 and 2019. In 2022, they were one of the first venues in the UK to achieve a Greengage ECOsmart Platinum level award. This recognition is thanks to the plethora of eco-friendly policies and initiatives implemented throughout the building, from 100% renewable electricity to smart water management systems.

3. Business Design Centre

With over 6,000 square metres of event space, the Business Design Centre is an event planner’s dream when it comes to large conferences. Located in the former royal agricultural hall, its flexible, blank canvas rooms offer contemporary design mixed with original ironwork. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s carbon neutral!

Looking for a massive open-plan space to form the central hub of your conference? The Mezzanine or Gallery Hall will be just the ticket. Need a main stage for those key talks and panel discussions? Check out the flexible Auditorium, which seats 500. And that’s not to mention all the more intimate spaces available for breakouts, from Rooms B-H. Oh, the options!

4. Conway Hall

Built in 1929 and Grade II listed, Conway Hall is a characterful setting for your next conference, boasting a rich history and a range of versatile spaces for events. With its 'highly-regarded acoustics', the Main Hall is a wonderful space for large conference sessions, accommodating up to 400 delegates. For breakout sessions, the Bertrand Russell Room, the Fox Room or the Library work well, and for an exhibition or catering space flooded with natural daylight, try the Brockway Room.

5. National Maritime Museum

Who says that large conference venues can’t be historical and unusual as well? The National Maritime Museum is located on the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich. Not only is it a stunning venue that your guests won’t forget in a hurry, but it’s perfect for those bigger conferences.

At the heart of the museum, you’ll find the striking, glass-ceilinged Great Map – the ideal spot for your main stage or exhibitor stands.
