'All Aboard' for Events at the London Transport Museum
Famous around the world, London's transport network is truly iconic. From the bright red Routemaster to the Underground symbol, the design of London’s transport is instantly recognisable and beautifully housed within this dedicated museum.

The History
You'll find London Transport Museum on the famous Covent Garden Piazza, in a unique setting that was originally a Victorian flower market.

Designed by William Rogers and opened in 1871, the flower market served Londoners for exactly 100 years before moving site in 1971. Opening in 1980, the museum transformed the space and provided a platform for over 450,000 items to be celebrated and enjoyed.
Old & New
In a convenient Central London location, the Museum Galleries are housed under the glass roof and cast iron pillars of the original market, that combine with the modernity and technology of the Cubic Theatre.

Following a £500k refurbishment and AV upgrade in Summer 2017, the Cubic Theatre offers event organisers industry-leading technology. The auditorium features 121 tube style seats, ensuring comfortable and memorable meetings, presentations and screenings.
Events
The Museum Galleries provide a fascinating backdrop for receptions, dinners and product launches. Surrounded by the colourful and captivating collection, guests are able to truly appreciate London’s buses, trams and early tube carriages at their leisure.

Fun fact: Did you know? Thousands more items are preserved at the Museum’s Depot in Acton. Although only open to the public 3 weekends a year, you may spot the Depot in films and on the TV as it is a popular filming location.
