The largest of the Club’s function rooms, the David Lloyd George Room features a grand piano once played by Rachmaninov, set against a backdrop of perfectly preserved Victorian architecture. Seating up to 140 people for formal dinners and up to 200 for a standing reception, this room is extremely adaptable. It can be set up in a myriad ways to suit various functions such as boardrooms, lectures or launch events. In addition to our David Lloyd George room, our Smoking Room can be offered as a pre-event reception space for the additional price of £275 for the hour.
The Gladstone Library on the 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a very special licensed event room accommodating up to 220 people for ceremony, and 220 for wedding breakfast. The Library interlinks directly with the Reading & Writing Room which accommodates up to 120 for ceremony or wedding breakfast, or 250 for drinks reception and offers views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames. Wedding packages are available with our internal catering, and can also be offered as a dry hire venue with external caterers for Indian and Kosher cuisine.

The room features high ceilings and a skylight which floods in a natural daylight. The room is air-conditioned and can be completely blacked out for presentations or hybrid events. The View boasts beautiful views over the city, a large terrace for guests to enjoy on summer evenings and transformational facilities. The View is located on the sixth floor of our central London flagship building, which has been transformed into a modern, light and flexible space for all to enjoy. The space can accommodate up to 300 guests for a drinks reception, or 180 on dinner rounds.
