ORTUS Conference and Events Venue

Originally designed by theatre designer JB Briggs, the sense of drama is apparent as you step into this magnificent Ballroom. Abundant with original features and its eponymous crystal chandelier, this venue is an inspirational setting for a conference, or private dining event.

The Crystal Ballroom was designed back in the late 1800s and has kept its wow factor since its inception. 

With a private Mezzanine and Balcony overseeing the Ballroom, this function space is a unique and captivating room, rich with history much like the St Ermin's Hotel.

Embodying all the grace and elegance of the Edwardian era, this period venue exhibits immense light and elegance inherent in its Edwardian design creating a breath-taking effect for organisers and visitors alike.

Based in the London office of the Royal Horticultural Society, the venue is steeped over 100 years of horticultural History, purpose built for the societies once monthly flower shows, the venue still boats the most unusual charm.

Royal Horticultural Halls

A historic, glass-domed theatre in Westminster for up to 240. Ideal for conferences and presentations.

The Telford Theatre, located on our first floor and fully accessible, is ideal for large conferences, presentations, lectures seminars, product launches, press conferences and AGMs. The dark wood pannelled room can accommodate up to 240 people and has a fully accessible stage with a lectern and a top table, both have in-built monitors and microphones. The stunning glassed domed roof allows a feeling of space and light in the room.
Room hire includes the services of a technician and all standard audio visual equipment already installed in the room.

A versatile, large ground-floor space in a central London venue. Ideal for conferences and corporate events.

The second largest space in the venue, and named after one of the greatest Britons, the Churchill is a highly versatile space, located on the ground floor. With a slightly raked floor, it has perfect views of the stage from all angles and is ideal for large scale conferences (in a variety of layouts including theatre, cabaret and classroom).

The Pickwick is included in the hire of the Churchill (subject to agreed minimum catering levels). Located on the first floor, it is suitable for drinks receptions, exhibitions and as a catering space.

Historic oak-paneled hall with Art Deco chandeliers, ideal for conferences and events up to 270.

Steeped in history, the Hoare Memorial Hall has a stately atmosphere, having played host to the House of Commons for a period during the Second World War. Its elegant oak-paneling, Art Deco Chandeliers, built-in stage, and gallery give the room a strong personality.

The hall is often used in conjunction with the Assembly Hall as a breakout room or on its own for Conferences, Seminars, Meetings, Press Launches, Product Launches, Exhibitions, and Training sessions. 

With its 6.5m ceiling and large windows, the Hoare Memorial Hall is ideal for conferences with up to 270 attendees.
