Gala Dinner Venues

Historic library venue with river views, ideal for weddings and large events in central London.

The Gladstone Library on the 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a very special licensed event room accommodating up to 220 people for ceremony, and 220 for wedding breakfast. 

The Library interlinks directly with the Reading & Writing Room which accommodates up to 120 for ceremony or wedding breakfast, or 250 for drinks reception and offers views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames.

Wedding packages are available with our internal catering, and can also be offered as a dry hire venue with external  caterers for Indian and Kosher cuisine.

A stunning ground-floor room with period features, ideal for intimate gatherings or larger receptions.

Ideal for dinners, the King George III Room is a stunning space with period features such as uncovered brickwork, a barrel vaulted ceiling and decorative lanterns. The venue, which is on the ground floor, is connected to both the Queen Charlotte and Lower Sugar Room, and is directly accessed from the reception. The space has solid oak flooring.

Extraordinary, custom-designed chandeliers adorn its 6 meter tall, elegant ceilings, each linking together to create a unique and dramatic 'ceiling-scape.'
Complete with in-house, start of the art audio-visual technology, the Ballroom easily opens out to  a charming balcony and luxurious lobby areas, affording you and your guests truly magical views.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer is a large flexible space with a standing capacity for up to 950 people.

Glass panelling bathes the spacious foyer with natural light while concrete walls and marble floors adding to the brutalist aesthetic.  

The space is particularly suited for award dinners, large receptions and exhibition stalls, boasting an outside terrace with fabulous river views.

The Fountain Room is a dedicated events structure located in the heart of London within Coram's fields, The Fountain Room is a purpose built venue which is perfect for your next winter conference or Christmas party. 

This Christmas, The Fountain Room is transformed into a Masquerade Ball, themed especially for shared and exclusive Christmas parties, where guests are sure to be amazed by the star lit ceiling and glamorous feel throughout the venue. 

Our masquerade dancers will perform throughout the evening and following dinner, guests are welcome to dance to party hits under the 'stars'.

The Fountain Room

A versatile, large ground-floor space in a central London venue. Ideal for conferences and corporate events.

The second largest space in the venue, and named after one of the greatest Britons, the Churchill is a highly versatile space, located on the ground floor. With a slightly raked floor, it has perfect views of the stage from all angles and is ideal for large scale conferences (in a variety of layouts including theatre, cabaret and classroom).

The Pickwick is included in the hire of the Churchill (subject to agreed minimum catering levels). Located on the first floor, it is suitable for drinks receptions, exhibitions and as a catering space.
