It's not often that the words 'London', 'wedding' and 'affordable' are mentioned in the same sentence. Add 'versatile', 'spacious', 'flexible' and 'inviting' to the mix, and we're bordering on the realms of fantasy, right?

Weddings are expensive - that's a fact, but with these fabulous venues, you needn't break the bank.

1. The Vaults at RSA House

As an enlightenment organisation, the RSA has, throughout history, extended a welcome to others looking for a place to discuss their ideas. The venue is now also a brilliant and beautiful backdrop for events.

The Vaults combine modern interiors with the historic grandeur of the building. Vaulted ceilings and bare brick walls provide a stunning canvas for intimate candlelit ceremonies. The space is easily transformed, making it ideal for wedding breakfasts and receptions too.

2. The Conservatory at Barbican

Inside this Brutalist-style arts centre is a tropical utopia. The Conservatory is a truly unique space and a beautiful oasis in the middle of the City. Under the glass roof are 2000 species of tropical plants and 100s of species of tropical fish.

The Conservatory is licensed for ceremonies and can host up to 120 of your nearest and dearest (tropical fish not included.)

3. Tanner Warehouse

At the end of beautiful Bermondsey Street is this former tannery. Stylishly decorated with wood, metal, pops of colour and nods to its previous life, Tanner Warehouse certainly a photogenic space.

The venue can hold up to 450, with plenty of space for celebrating. There's also a courtyard where you can enjoy the sunshine and a bit of a breather. The private space has its own bar and kitchen to keep your guests fed and watered for a truly memorable day.

As you can see, when it comes to our venues, 'affordable' doesn't mean 'cheap'. And, marrying the love of your life partner shouldn't mean spending a small fortune.
