Burton

116 Pall Mall

Elegant Grade II listed venue with versatile rooms, natural light, and period features.

Located on the ground floor of this award-winning, Grade II listed venue and fully accessible, the Smeaton room has high ceilings and the large windows allow in lots of natural daylight. The walls are covered with rich, dark, French walnut panelling and the ceilings are domed with beautifully embellished plaster and lit by a large chandelier. 
There is space to hold up to 150 people theatre style or 60 classroom style. The room has the added advantage of adjoining the Brunel room which in turns adjoins the Council room, allowing flexibility in how the space is used.

The South Bank Suite offers a contemporary space for workshops, seminars, or larger conferences. 
The suite is made up of two larger rooms South Bank 1 and 2, with a smaller breakout room or greenspace adjoining called South Bank 3. 
The space is located on the lower ground floor and has high ceilings and a private foyer with an embedded coatrail and luggage storage area included. Hiring the suite includes a comprehensive AV package including 4 high-definition hybrid capable cameras, hybrid meeting facilities and a PA system (up to 6 handheld microphones and 1 lapel microphone.

A modern, tech-equipped event space with historic charm, suitable for parties of up to 100 guests.

The Smeaton Vaults provide an interesting, private space for events of around 100 guests. Copper pipes around the walls and the original iron walkway reveal their brewing past but in reality these rooms couldn’t be more modern. There is a built in DB audio PA system and a large projector area and screen. The room has AMBX intelligent LED lighting that can wash the room in colour, highlight the vaulted ceiling, or interact with sounds and images.Fixed hanging points can be added for additional lighting if needed and there is direct access to the loading bay, making set up and break down easy.
