Historic gallery space with Victorian features, ideal for unique events and exhibitions.

Our impressive galleries provide the opportunity to curate your event alongside the latest Whitechapel Gallery exhibition and allow exclusive out of hours access to your guests. As the former central reading room of the Whitechapel Library, Gallery 2 is a particularly impressive space that retains its original Victorian features alongside contemporary touches in the exposed brickwork and polished concrete floor. 

Making up some of our largest spaces, Galleries 1, 2 and 8 can accommodate conferences, seated dinners and evening receptions as part of our dry hire option inbetween exhibitions.

Whitechapel Gallery 

We have both daylight and blackout studios available for your film shoot. The studios have white brick walls and wooden floors and our filled with cool, unique props and musical instruments such as a baby grand piano. We even have a Victorian free standing bath. Props can be used or stored a way if not needed. We have filmed many music videos, adverts, interviews and tv programmes. We have a huge 3000sq ft roof top and roof terrace available for filming and photoshoots. We offer delicious in-house catering for your crew and cast and have parking if required. Funky blank canvas venue
