Christ Church Spitalfields

An art-deco hall with a private entrance, bar, and flexible space for up to 500 guests. Ideal for events.

The Assembly Hall has a private entrance which leads via a grand staircase up to a stunning landing area perfect for a reception or registration.

The room can be used either as a whole for up to 500 standing or 300 seated capacity. Alternatively the room can be divided into 3 separate entities via partition walls.

Next to the Assembly Hall, you also have access to our stunning art-deco bar which serves as a beautiful, intimate space.

This space is located on the first floor and is our largest event space at 195m². The Elizabeth Room is a versatile, light and airy space perfect for daytime conferences for up to 105, suitable for exhibitions, exams, team building and presentations. The adjoining breakout area is ideal for registration and catering. The hire of this room includes fully integrated audio visual equipment, AV support, an event coordinator, Wi-Fi and blackout blinds.

Gallery 2 is the historic central reading room of the former Whitechapel Library.
This columned space with original Victorian brickwork, polished concrete floor and architectural light wells, is a stunning setting for dinners and drinks receptions.

Gallery 2 is also the commission space at the Whitechapel Gallery. This means that clients are offered the opportunity to entertain alongside new and critically acclaimed pieces of artwork, making for particularly memorable events.
