Situated on the first floor, the Minories suite is a flexible meeting space with a generous capacity of 400 in a theatre layout. The room can be hired as one open space, be separated in half, or fully split into the four interconnected meeting rooms which form it: Bartholomew, Harpley, Beaumont and Sidney suites. The hotel's spacious Gallery & Foyers are used for catering and exhibition. The Minories suite is ideal for hosting exhibitions, business meetings, conferences, private dinners, product launches and receptions.




Frequently asked questions

Trinity Suite (main plenary) costs £8,100 incl VAT per day (reduced from £10,500), with maximum capacity of 237 in classroom or 700 in theatre layout. Syndicate rooms America and Ludgate cost £1,300 each per day (£2,600 total, reduced from £4,000). Additional breakout rooms range from £400-£3,500 per day depending on size and capacity.

DDR packages range from £69-£99 per person incl VAT depending on date and season. Minimum delegate numbers vary: typically 12-16 for smaller rooms like Prescot Suite, 250-400 for larger events in Trinity Suite. DDR includes room hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries, mid-morning and afternoon breaks, 2-course buffet lunch, basic AV, flipcharts, Wi-Fi, and dedicated event management.

Trinity Suite accommodates 237 in classroom, 700 in theatre, or 490 on round tables with stage. When combined with Goodmans Suite, theatre capacity increases to 1000 guests. Syndicate rooms (America, Ludgate) hold maximum 36 in boardroom, while breakout spaces like Bartholomew and Harpley accommodate up to 100 in theatre or 64 in cabaret layout.

The venue operates a 'Joint 1st option' system where multiple clients can hold the same space simultaneously. The first client to return a signed contract within three working days secures exclusive use. Hold periods are typically end of day on specified dates, and bookings are released if no decision is made by the deadline.

Basic projector and screen are included in most packages. Additional AV costs include: PA system £250-£950, microphones £66 each, AV technician £550-£648 for 8 hours (mandatory when booking 2+ microphones), stage blocks £54 each, external AV £750 per day. Owl Lab for hybrid meetings costs £300 for up to 20 delegates.

Harpley Suite requires a minimum spend of £4,500 incl VAT on food and beverages. If the minimum isn't reached, the shortfall is allocated as room hire. For drinks receptions, minimum spends typically start at £4,000 incl VAT, with amounts required to be pre-paid by the client.

Standard event hours are typically 09:00-17:00 for conferences. For evening events, loud music must be turned down at 23:00 (midnight for some events), with only soft background music allowed until 01:00. Room access for setup is usually from 10:00 on event day, with optional night-before setup available for £10,000.

Security is mandatory at £24 per hour with a minimum 6-hour booking for evening events. External caterers must provide employer's liability insurance (minimum £5 million per incident), public liability insurance (minimum £5 million), health and safety documentation, hygiene certifications, and food safety certificates for all chefs working on-site.

Foyer A & B and the Atrium serve as dedicated catering and exhibition spaces outside meeting rooms. The Gallery & Foyers accommodate up to 24 exhibition stands (3m x 2m) on the lower level floor. These spaces are included with room bookings and provide private networking areas separate from the main meeting rooms.

The venue may need to release space if another client adds rooms to an existing confirmed event, as seen with meeting room cancellations. Room assignments are subject to change based on operational requirements. The venue will attempt to provide alternative dates or spaces when possible, but bookings are not guaranteed until contracts are fully executed.
