The Marcus Beck Library is one of the many heritage treasures found at 1 Wimple Street. This private meeting room dates back to 1912 and has a large library of rare medical books lining the walls. The room seats up to 30 people in a unique horse-shoe formation and features impressive oak parquet flooring,  a marble fireplace and air conditioning. Due to its historic heritage, this room sets itself apart, making it the perfect location for formal board meetings, corporate dinners, and both online and hybrid presentations, training and team building.

Modern, minimalist theatre in a historic venue. Ideal for small conferences and presentations.

The fully accessible Godfrey Mitchell Theatre is located on the lower ground. This theatre is ideal for small conferences, presentations, lectures, seminars, product launches, press conferences and AGM's. We're fully equipped with state-of-the art presentation technology. At the front is a lectern and a top table for up to four people; each with fixed microphones. The space is very minimalist and modern in style with soft blue and white.

Our smallest theatre can be linked up to our Telford Theatre which allow a capacity of over 340 people.

A 150-seat modernist cinema screen with balcony, ideal for corporate events and presentations.

The Renoir screen has 150 seats in total with 141 seats in the main auditorium and 9 balcony seats. 

It is an ideal screen for presentations with space for speakers and a panel. Hire costs include the use of a lectern, microphones and static spotlights.

Historic oak-paneled hall with Art Deco chandeliers, ideal for conferences and events up to 270.

Steeped in history, the Hoare Memorial Hall has a stately atmosphere, having played host to the House of Commons for a period during the Second World War. Its elegant oak-paneling, Art Deco Chandeliers, built-in stage, and gallery give the room a strong personality.

The hall is often used in conjunction with the Assembly Hall as a breakout room or on its own for Conferences, Seminars, Meetings, Press Launches, Product Launches, Exhibitions, and Training sessions. 

With its 6.5m ceiling and large windows, the Hoare Memorial Hall is ideal for conferences with up to 270 attendees.

Located on the mezzanine level the Press & Type Room are perfectly situated next door to each other and can be used separately or combined together and their versatility makes them ideal for a board meeting or theatre style presentation.

A versatile, modern event space in central London with AV tech, ideal for corporate events.

The Congress Suite is a newer edition to Congress Centre, accommodating up to 190 for a sit-down meal or 200 standing. The spacious room is an ideal blank canvas space for corporate business events in central London with white walls and original 1950s' parquet flooring, which has been carefully restored to stunning effect.

Offering the latest AV equipment, air conditioning and colour changeable LED lighting.

When booked with Congress Hall, the Congress Suite provides a perfect catering or breakout area, or the space can be hired independently for smaller events. 2024 DDR is priced at £90.

The Warren Suite is one of eight spaces available for hire in the completely refurbished Hallam Conference Centre. A traditional, Grade II listed building, the Hallam Conference Centre is a dignified, stately venue that is particularly suited to business events. The Warren Suite accommodates between 30 and 80 people for meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, and trainings. Use of a PA system, free Wifi, wireless LAN connections, and AV support services are included in the hire. Our experienced event management team is always available and ready to help.

The highly adaptable Lecture Hall and Library can be combined into a single room for
receptions of up to 1,000 guests.

With impressive triple height ceilings with gorgeous details, natural daylight and a built-in
stage, Lecture Hall and Library proves a versatile room for holding conferences, seminars,
exams, exhibitions, graduation ceremonies and much more. There is an extensive range of
technical equipment to complement your event covering video, audio, and staging.
There is direct access from the Main Foyer on Level 1 which can be used as a convenient
registration area if needed.
