The Cotton Sheds
Draped head to toe in industrialist aesthetic, The Cotton Sheds regularly host enthralling shows and conferences with as many as eight separate areas and room for up to 5,000 people. Shed A, our most famous space has been home to events produces by top brands: Nike, Heineken, Jeep, The Northern Powerhouse Partnership and BBC Radio Music festival. This vast area within The Cotton Sheds is perfect for launches, conferences, dinners, sporting events and music shows. Sheds B, C, D, E, F and G can be hired collectively as breakout rooms, separate catering areas or exhibition space.
The Bays
Made up of two adjoining areas totalling over 700 sqm. The Bays are our most popular event space. Built in 1932 for cotton stock, and later storage for Kellogg's, McVitie's and Cadburys, their rich history and interesting architecture make them ideal for corporate and showcase events. A large pre-function space with a feature bar leads into the main room, which is complete with a full AV package. This includes screens and projectors, colour-changing down lighters on the pillars, a PA system, staging, lecterns, mics and relay screes, giving you a hassle-free event solution.

A beautifully refurbished, urbanised basement, The Archives have a raw, industrial charm. Exhibitions, award dinners, drinks receptions, conferences, meetings, and networking events all thrive between these walls.

The new and recently developed basement space had been transformed into 'The Archives' and 'The Cellars', now providing four extra sections of creative and flexible space for both intimate or large scale events.

New for 2023, The Tobacco Stores represent the epitome of innovation. Recently converted into two areas, the 1858sqm space is intertwined with exposed brickwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, original archways and ancient steel columns. It's two adjoining spaces can be cordoned off to differentiate activity and consists of a fully-integrated kitchen and extensive PA system including 20 giant projector screen. It's vast size allows for a myriad of uses across day and night from team building, to private functions, to contemporary product launches.
