This immersive experience provides a private evening of unique storytelling, alongside a fantastic selection of canapés and drinks.

Guests will gather for a welcome drink underneath our suspended Lynx helicopter, before being taken on an after-hours journey with a private performance from one of our 'Solder Stories' characters, and then relaxing in our stylish Boardroom with refreshments.

To cap off the evening, everyone can take home a souvenir book, which looks at the remarkable stories behind the Museum's exhibits.




Frequently asked questions

Foyle 1 costs £1,730 +VAT for day hire, Foyle 2 costs £1,260 +VAT, and the Atrium costs £3,790 +VAT for evening hire (access from 17:30). Combined hire of Foyle 1 and 2 for 09:00-17:00 costs £2,530 +VAT, while Foyle 2 and Café 2 together cost £4,690 +VAT.

Foyle 1 accommodates 100 guests in theatre style, Foyle 2 seats 100 theatre style or 80 cabaret style (10 tables with 8 guests each), and the Atrium hosts up to 150 guests for standing receptions. The Boardroom seats up to 24 guests, and Café 2 provides additional breakout space above Foyle 2.

Foyle 1 includes a projector, large screen, and built-in speakers. Foyle 2 has two projectors and screens for enhanced visibility, plus built-in speakers. All spaces include lecterns, staging, and microphones within the hire fee, and HDMI cables are available with Mac adaptors if needed.

Yes, events on Mondays when the museum is closed to the public require mandatory security to have main doors opened and manned throughout the hire. This costs £187 +VAT and requires a separate agreement, as the museum is normally closed on Mondays.

All daytime catering is provided by in-house partners Searcys, who offer various menu options from sandwiches to formal three-course dinners. For evening events, you can choose from a list of approved external caterers or use Searcys. Catering is arranged directly with the chosen provider and quoted separately.

A maximum of 30 exhibition stands can be accommodated across Foyle 2 and the Atrium - 16 stands in Foyle 2 and 14 in the Atrium. Each standard table space is 75cm x 150cm, and power outlets are available throughout both spaces with extension cables provided by the IT team.

Evening hire of the Atrium begins at 17:30 when the museum closes to the public. The museum is located at Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London SW3 4HT, and has a small on-site car park ideal for deliveries with access on the same floor as the Foyle spaces.

Yes, registered charities receive a discount on venue hire fees. For example, evening hire of the Foyer and Atrium together for a charity event costs £4,352 +VAT (reflecting the charity discount), compared to standard commercial rates.

To confirm a booking, you must complete and sign an order agreement that requires the lead event contact details, full company name, and complete company address. The finance team will then issue an invoice to the email address provided on the signed agreement.

Deliveries and collections must be booked for the day of the event only. All packages should be labeled 'FAO Venue Hire National Army Museum' so security can alert the venue hire team upon arrival. You must provide a list of expected couriers and their corresponding exhibitors to the venue team.
