Opened by Queen Victoria in 1845, the Great Hall, complete with striking fresco, minstrel's gallery and a ceiling of beautifully worked oak, is described as one of the most impressive surviving buildings of its kind in London and provides a spectacular setting for all types of events. 
Suitable for receptions for up to 450 guests, dinners for up to 280 guests,  lectures and ceremonies for up to 300 guests and wedding receptions and dinner dances for up to 200 guests.
