The Banqueting Hall is a versatile and flexible space for conferences, AGM's, seminars, workshops, meetings, town hall and team meetings for up to 300 guests. It also features an adjoining foyer, for registration.

The Banqueting Hall can be used in conjunction with the River Room for catering space. With excellent audio-visual facilities and pin spot lighting, the Hall can be used to dramatic effect or there is the opportunity to enhance your branding.

Glaziers Hall has cutting edge 1gb wired internet and WiFi 6 allowing over 300 active devices at any one time at 100mbps up/download.

The Banqueting Hall costs £4,500+VAT for daytime hire (setup from 1pm) or £5,400+VAT with setup from 1pm. The base hire includes the space, basic AV equipment (dual screen and projectors, PA system, handheld microphone, lectern with mounted microphone, LED lighting package), and high-speed internet (1gb wired and WiFi 6 supporting 300+ devices at 100mbps). Additional services like catering, security, and extended hours cost extra.

The Day Delegate Rate starts at £107.10+VAT per person (minimum 60 people) and includes Banqueting Hall hire from 9am-5pm with 8am organizer access, all AV equipment, tea/coffee/pastries on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, classic sandwich lunch with fruit, afternoon tea/coffee with brownies, water throughout the day, and manned cloakroom facilities. For events over 120 people, the Banqueting Hall and River Room combination is recommended at £222.17+VAT per person.

The Banqueting Hall accommodates up to 300 guests for conferences, AGMs, seminars, and meetings. For cabaret-style layouts with tables of 7-8 people, it can handle 70-85 guests comfortably with space for breakout sessions. Theatre-style layouts can accommodate up to 350 delegates, though this may require additional breakout spaces.

Security is mandatory at £198.50+VAT for evening events, private parties, and events with alcohol service. For corporate celebrations and events running past standard business hours, security is typically required. The security fee covers SIA-accredited personnel for the duration of your event.

Glaziers Hall offers in-house catering including breakfast options (£8+VAT for tea/coffee/pastries or £21.50+VAT for full breakfast), lunch packages, and dinner options starting from £124+VAT per person. The venue can accommodate external caterers with proper documentation (RAMS, PAT testing, PLI certificate, and signed supplier briefing form), though in-house catering is preferred for simplicity.

Included AV equipment features dual screens and projectors, PA system, handheld microphone, lectern with mounted microphone, LED lighting package, and CD/MP3 connectivity. However, the in-house PA system is only suitable for conference use, not music. DJs and bands must bring their full sound kit and provide RAMS, PAT testing, PLI certificates, and signed supplier briefing forms.

Minimum revenue requirements of £12,500+VAT apply for certain peak dates, particularly in December. For private parties, a refundable deposit of £5,000+VAT is required. Day delegate packages have minimum numbers (typically 60 people), and some room combinations require minimum guest counts to be cost-effective.

Dates are held on 'joint 1st option' basis, meaning multiple clients can have provisional holds on the same date. When one client wants to confirm, contracts are sent out and the first to return a signed contract secures the space. Site visits can be arranged to view the space before booking, and the venue requires signed contracts rather than just verbal confirmations to secure dates.

Beyond room hire, budget for mandatory security (£198.50+VAT for evening events), potential wastage charges (£375+VAT for wine events), DJ and dancefloor (£850+VAT), projection services, custom linen upgrades, entertainment (pianists from £2,000+VAT), and parking (5 spaces available for hire outside the building). Manned cloakroom is complimentary for most events.
