Fascinating Events at Founders' Hall

Located in central London, but away from the hustle and bustle due to its location in one of London’s oldest streets, lies Founders’ Hall. Founders’ Hall is the building of The Founders’ Company; originating in 1365, it is one of the oldest livery companies in the City of London. The building can now be used for venue hire in one of the three rooms available; the Master & Clerks Room, The Parlour, and The Livery.

Arguably more contemporary than many other Livery Halls, the venue prides itself on its stunning and versatile rooms, that are perfectly proportioned, with beautiful interior designs. This venue would be perfect for a wide range of events and occasions, such as conferences, meetings, private dining, weddings, and Christmas parties.

Livery Halls

With huge porthole windows that give the room excellent natural light, as well as views of the beautiful green space of the gardens of Bartholomew the Great, The Livery Room is traditional, and beautifully decorated, with ornate pillars that demand attention. It is the largest single space at the venue. The colours of the room are gold, red, and silver, highlighting both the importance and richness of the room historically. The room can cater for up to 100 guests, making it an ideal space for receptions, presentations, meetings and private dining lunches.

The Parlour

The Parlour is on the ground floor of Founders’ Hall. It is a traditional space that is elegantly decorated, with soft colours. It can fit up to 50 people for a drinks reception, or 25 for a seated dinner. It is an intimate space, with the golden interior colours illuminated by the natural daylight that floods the room. The room welcomes parties, celebrations, and events, with the option to have your own entertainment options.

Master & Clerks

Situated on the first floor of Founders’ Hall, the Master & Clerks’ room is perfect for intimate dinner parties, or as a meeting room. It is an impressive space, with rich furnishings, again highlighting its importance historically. Bespoke packages can be ordered from the venue to include day dining and morning tea options.

Founders’ Hall has a place in London History, and it is the perfect place to host your next event. With ornate designs throughout, the historic building has a contemporary twist, making it both fascinating and beautiful venue.
