Conway Hall

The Main Hall has been host to fashion shows (we hosted Ted Baker fashion show back in 2013), art exhibitions, cinema screenings, exhibitions and other interactive events. Even the odd (and those big ones) TV filming occurs here too! So if you're thinking of producing a new show, comedy night or old-fashioned music performance, do get in touch and we can take you for a tour around our wonderful venue!

The Brockway Room is ideal for your room small hire requirements. It has a seating capacity of up to 75 and is perfect for meetings, lectures, screenings, small conferences, exhibitions, product launches and more. It has a specifically-designed skylight which floods the room with natural light and is located on the ground floor, which is fully accessible by a wheelchair users.

The Bertrand Russell Room is bright and airy and is located on the ground floor, therefore it is fully accessible for a wheelchair users. The room can be arranged for 22 at a board meeting to 35 for a presentations (theatre style). There is mounted on the wall TV screen available to use. The room is also perfect for auditions and rehearsals. In case you hire the whole venue, this is great break-out room, that can be used as catering base or cloakroom.

Built in 1929 and Grade II listed, Conway Hall has rich history and a unique feel. Our atmospheric Library is an authentic backdrop for your meeting, workshop or event. Used for many as a filming location for interviews, writer's meetings, drinks receptions & book launches.

This newly refurbished space can seat up to 10 people for boardroom meetings and small presentations. Equipped with a 4K Smart TV enabling HDMI connectivity or Casting from laptops and other devices. Its is bright room situated on the second floor with views to our rooftop. We can arrange for refreshments to be served in the room, so you can stay away from the noisy events downstairs. Toilet facility on the floor is also a great addition!

Conway Hall opened in 1929 and is named in honour of Moncure Conway, an anti-slavery advocate, outspoken supporter of free thought and biographer of Thomas Paine. Owned by Conway Hall Ethical Society, a charity, we curate, support and facilitate people and ideas that "Make Ethics Matter" in the world. The venue is Grade II listed and offers beautiful spaces with historic features throughout, especially our Main Hall with its distinctive stage and highly-regarded acoustics.
