The O2 Academy Birmingham main auditorium (capacity 3009) is a versatile events space available for everything from live music events, filming, weddings, parties, private dinners and receptions, with seated balcony its suitable for awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches and corporate conferences. With two additional smaller rooms (capacity 600 & 250) All rooms are unique and state of the art, and can operate independantly or simultaneously. With onsite catering facilities, staging, AV/Technical equipment and event management support we can offer a unique experience to suit any event.
Fancy your own cinema for just you and your friends? You can hire either screen for birthday parties, hen dos, stag dos or just a fun night with work colleagues. We can project a slide show of photos as your guests enter the auditorium, baby photos as a birthday surprise or uni snaps to celebrate graduation. You can also request specific music to be played in the room as your guests find their seats. We have also started offering events where we hook up a console (either Xbox or Playstation) to our projector and allow people to play video games on our state-of-the-art digital screen.

Centrala gallery is a perfect space for the various type of events: -music gig -party -film screening -festival -staff away day -concert -banquet - launch event -performance - theatre play The space can host event up to 100 people, there is bar and bar facilities available. We can provide catering and run a bar for you. There is equipment and technical support on hand, we can even help you to promote your event.
This space on level 2 provides a versatile setting for meetings & events. CONNECT can be opened and adapted to requirements - from one large, versatile space to two flexible areas with a delegate entrance, board room or five individual rooms for smaller events. Each room is fitted with high-speed Wi-Fi and the latest AV technology, perfect for presentations, pitches and screenings. Our highly-skilled team will be on hand to offer full AV support.
The largest of 4 event spaces Room 1 offers you a huge open plan warehouse event space, with a gable roof that washes the floor with an abundance of natural light. The room has a lot of steelwork and industrial features which is ideal if you prefer to host your events in exciting and unusual event spaces.
