What is the minimum group size for Christmas events at The HAC?
The HAC does not host Christmas parties for groups under 80 people. This minimum applies specifically to Christmas events and may not apply to other types of corporate events throughout the year.
How far in advance should I book, and what is the booking process?
The venue experiences high volumes of inquiries and works to respond as quickly as possible. Based on availability responses, popular dates book up well in advance, particularly for December events and summer dates.

What happens if my preferred date is unavailable?
If your requested date is unavailable, the venue will offer alternative dates if you have flexibility. They also provide assistance in finding alternative venues through their network if The HAC cannot accommodate your event.
Are there budget requirements or minimum spends for events?
The venue has indicated they cannot accommodate events with budgets of £1,000-£2,000, suggesting higher minimum requirements. Specific minimum spends vary by space and event type, and they will advise if your budget may be challenging to accommodate.
What spaces are available for corporate events and meetings?
The venue offers multiple spaces including the Prince Consort Rooms, Long Room, and Ante Room. The Prince Consort Rooms can accommodate up to 700 guests for standing events, while other spaces have different capacities depending on the setup required.
What catering and AV packages are available for day conferences?
The Bronze DDR Package is available at £160 + VAT per person (minimum 164 delegates) and includes venue hire from 08:00-17:00, arrival refreshments, mid-morning refreshments, working lunch, afternoon refreshments, water bottles, table linen, and standard AV package by KSS Audio.
Can I arrange a site visit before booking?
Yes, site visits can be arranged to view the spaces and discuss details in person. They also offer a virtual tour online for initial viewing of the venue spaces.
