The Orangery is a beautiful, modern conservatory that can sit up to 120 for private dining, with a tranquil walled courtyard garden, surrounded by a magnificent living wall that can hold up to 120 for a pre-dinner drinks reception.

The Orangery is self contained space and comes with a private bar and entrance off Cavendish Square. If hosting a larger dinner or event in the Burdett Suite the ground floor of the venue offers flexibility in your planning to utilise the rooms you need.

Frequently asked questions

The Orangery can accommodate up to 120 guests for formal dining and up to 280 standing for receptions. The space measures 21.50m (L) x 7.7m (W) with ceiling heights of 3.78m (2.10m at pillars). It features natural daylight, air-conditioning, and is fully accessible from the ground floor main entrance.

Room hire for the Orangery & Courtyard is £3,800 VAT exempt for events running 6pm to midnight. There is a minimum catering spend of £3,700 plus VAT that must be met. Additional hours beyond the standard session time cost £300 VAT exempt per hour.

Catering is provided by Searcy's with seasonal menus. A 3-course meal with half bottle of wine costs approximately £78.50 per person plus VAT. The Christmas package at £150 per person includes four canapes, four bowl-food choices, sparkling wine reception, half bottle of wine per guest, and unlimited water.

Standard AV equipment includes PA system with bluetooth connection, 2 roving microphones, 2 fixed digital branding screens, staging (if required), LED multicolour lighting, and 500MB wifi. All equipment is included in the room hire rate at no additional charge.

Yes, the venue can be exclusively yours for the day, particularly for weddings. Standard operating hours are typically 6pm to midnight for evening events, though earlier start times may be available. Viewings are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Wedding packages start from £8,700 plus VAT and include exclusive use of the venue for the day. The Orangery and Courtyard are particularly popular for summer weddings, with the venue serving as a blank canvas for couples to create their unique vision.

The venue allows spectacular theming, lighting and decoration as part of their Christmas packages, and includes DJ, disco and dance floor services. The space has a 4-metre ceiling height, so structures over 6 metres will not fit. There are separate areas for DJ booths and live band stages.

Initial proposals are provided with estimated totals that are not final invoices. Room hire and catering prices are valid at the time of enquiry but may be subject to future price changes. The venue recommends placing spaces on hold as they get booked up quickly, and dedicated Event Managers are assigned to guide you through the entire process.
