With six unique event spaces, Lumiere's Underwood flagship venue offers the perfect location for any event requirements.

The building includes on the third floor the award-winning Chalet, New Victorian Loft and New White Loft, on the second the tranquil Palm Room and on the lower ground the bright and stylish Galeria and adjacent Studio.

An ideal venue for trade shows, pop-up shows or restaurants, private dining, art exhibitions, awards ceremonies, film festivals, Hackathons, company training, team activities, VR experiences, film, TV and photo shoots, hybrid events and live streaming.




Frequently asked questions

The White Loft costs £2,750+VAT for up to 8 hours (£160+VAT per extra hour), while combining the White Loft and Palm Room costs £3,750+VAT (£320+VAT per extra hour). The Palm Room alone is £1,850+VAT for up to 8 hours (£160+VAT per extra hour), though reduced rates of £1,250+VAT have been offered. La Galeria and Studio costs £2,450+VAT per day (£160+VAT per extra hour), with some quotes showing reduced rates of £1,950+VAT.

The New White Loft accommodates 120 theatre, 100 cabaret, or 150 standing. The Palm Room holds 100 standing, 70 theatre, or 70 cabaret. La Galeria and Studio can host up to 140 theatre or 120 cabaret. The New Victorian Loft holds 180 theatre, 150 cabaret, or 180 standing.

Two unlimited refreshment options are available: Option 1 includes unlimited tea, coffee, apple juice, and biscuits for £10.90+VAT per person. Option 2 adds soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, San Pellegrino) for £14.90+VAT per person. Non-dairy alternatives are available for both packages.

Breakfast starts from £8.90+VAT per person, lunch from £19.99+VAT per person, and individual boxes/bowls from £11+VAT per person. A 10% service charge is applied to all catering. Canapés and drinks reception packages are available from £71.51 per person for 25-50 people, with prosecco add-ons at £6.89 per person.

85-inch screens cost £275+VAT each, microphones are £45+VAT (handheld) or £90+VAT for multiple units, and stage pieces (1m x 2m) cost £125+VAT each. Smart TV screens, PA systems, and other AV equipment are available for additional charges upon request.

Yes, you can book individual spaces or combinations. The third floor houses the New White Loft, New Victorian Loft, and Chalet. The Palm Room is on the second floor, and La Galeria and Studio are on the lower ground floor. All Underwood Lofts together (5,850 sq ft total) cost £4,950+VAT for up to 8 hours.

Venue hire includes the space for up to 8 hours, with extra hours charged at £160+VAT per hour for single spaces or £320+VAT per hour for multiple spaces. Evening before setup is included in the extra hour rate. AV equipment, catering, and additional services are charged separately.

The smallest space recommended is the Palm Room, which is geared towards 50+ people minimum. The venue doesn't accommodate small meeting rooms for fewer than 50 people. Weekend rates may apply, with Saturday bookings from 9am-5pm starting at £1,650+VAT for some spaces.
