What is the minimum spend requirement for the Events space?

The minimum spend varies significantly based on date and group size, ranging from £2,000 to £20,000 (not inclusive of service charge and VAT). For example, smaller groups may secure £2,000 minimum spend after negotiation, while July bookings typically require £10,000-£20,000 minimum spend due to high demand. All minimum spends are subject to 15% service charge and VAT on top.

What are the capacity limits for the Events space?

The Events space accommodates up to 30 guests for private hire. If you need more space, you can combine it with the Bird of Paradise bar area to accommodate up to 60 guests total. The venue can handle larger events up to 300 people using multiple areas.

What food packages are available and what do they cost?

Food options include Caribbean-themed canapés, bowl food, and buffet packages. Canapé selections typically cost around £50-65 per person and include items like jerk chicken in coconut shells, mini doubles, and freetas. Bowl food options feature BBQ bowls or curry bowls. A buffet package is available at £60 per person including welcome drink, two canapé starters, and mains buffet selection.

What drinks packages are offered and at what cost?

Three unlimited drinks packages are available: Classic Package (£45 for 2 hours/£60 for 3 hours per person) includes beer, wine, and soft drinks; Premium Package (£50 for 2 hours/£75 for 3 hours per person) adds prosecco and single spirits; Luxury Package (£65 for 2 hours/£95 for 3 hours per person) includes cocktails. Alternatively, you can work with an open bar tab toward your minimum spend.

Is karaoke included and are there additional entertainment options?

Karaoke is available as the space is specifically designed for karaoke parties. Additional entertainment options include DJ hire, carnival hosts with limbo, glitter artists, burlesque martini glass dancers, and various games. DJ hire typically costs around £480, while other entertainment options are available at additional cost.

Can I bring my own music or DJ, and what AV equipment is provided?

You can play your own Spotify playlist or bring your own DJ. The venue provides AV equipment including TV screens, microphones, and sound system. For presentations, projector and screen setup is available at additional cost.

The venue features a retractable roof, windbreakers, and heaters making it suitable for year-round events.
