The HAC (Honourable Artillery Company)

The HAC requires a minimum of 80 guests for Christmas parties. Groups under 80 are not accommodated for Christmas events, as stated in their booking policy for the festive season.

The Long Room costs £4,500 + VAT for venue hire (18:00-00:00) with a minimum catering spend of £3,500 + VAT. The Prince Consort Rooms cost £10,000 + VAT for venue hire, with an additional £1,000 + VAT kitchen buyout fee if using external caterers.

The Prince Consort Rooms can accommodate up to 700 guests for standing events, 400 guests theatre-style for ceremonies, and 300 guests combined in the West Albert Room for drinks receptions. The terrace access is weather dependent.

The venue is only licensed until 3:00 PM on Sundays, though extensions may be possible through Islington Council. Venue hire typically runs from 09:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with all guests required to vacate by midnight, and suppliers have a maximum of 90 minutes to clear down after events.

The Bronze DDR Package costs £160 + VAT per person with a minimum of 164 delegates. It includes hire of Prince Consort Rooms (08:00-17:00), table linen, standard AV package, arrival refreshments, mid-morning refreshments, working lunch, afternoon refreshments, and bottled water.

Due to noise protocols, drinks receptions cannot be hosted outside after 9:00 PM or sunset, whichever is earlier. This applies to all outdoor areas including terraces and the Artillery Garden.

External caterers must pay a £1,500 + VAT damage deposit directly to The HAC, which is refundable after a satisfactory post-event inspection by senior management. This is mandatory for all events using external catering services.

The venue cannot accommodate events with budgets of £1,000-£2,000. Based on their responses, events typically require budgets significantly higher than this range, with package examples starting from around £26,000 + VAT for corporate events.

The venue experiences high demand and frequently has no availability for requested dates, particularly during peak seasons like Christmas and summer. Early booking is essential, and the sales team can be reached at 020 7382 1533 or through their direct sales executives.

Wedding ceremonies can be held in the Prince Consort Rooms (up to 400 guests theatre-style) or Long Room. The venue offers a six-acre estate setting, but Sunday events are only licensed until 3:00 PM unless extended through Islington Council, and ceremony-to-reception turnarounds are the caterer's responsibility.
