Frequently asked questions

Venue hire varies by space and event type. For a 250-guest dinner, the Assembly Hall, Hoare Memorial Hall, and Bishops Partridge Hall package costs £12,850 ex VAT. Weekend bookings have minimum venue hire of £8,000 ex VAT. Specific pricing depends on your chosen spaces and event requirements.

There is a minimum catering spend of £69.50 per person with a minimum of 250 guests for dinner events. Some quotes show minimum spends of £41.50-£43.50 per person depending on the event type. All catering prices are exclusive of VAT.

The Assembly Hall accommodates up to 600 guests and serves as the main dinner space. The Hoare Memorial Hall and Bishops Partridge Hall are used for drinks receptions and catering overflow. The Harvey Goodwin Suite can accommodate 180 theatre-style or serve as additional catering space.

Standard AV packages start from £4,495 ex VAT. The Assembly Hall package (£3,995 ex VAT) includes 4K laser projector, 8-speaker sound system, stage lighting, microphones, and engineers. Weekend bookings incur an additional £500 per AV package.

Events typically run from 8:30am-5pm for conferences, with evening events extending to 6-11pm. Setup access is available the evening prior between 6pm-8pm until midnight, with venue clearance required by 10pm or 11pm depending on the arrangement.

Popular dates like September 23rd, October 21st, and June 26th 2025 are already fully booked. The venue operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so booking well in advance is essential, especially for peak season events.

Catering is provided by Searcy's with options including traditional afternoon tea, sit-down dinners, and drinks receptions. Christmas packages feature a magical Narnia theme with prosecco welcome drinks and festive menus. Drinks receptions start from £29.50 ex VAT per person.

The venue accommodates various event types including boxing shows, conferences, and gala dinners. Filming enquiries are handled by a separate specialist team. The venue is fully accessible and located in Dean's Yard, Westminster with views of Westminster Abbey.
