Frequently asked questions

There is a minimum spend of £2,000 excluding VAT on catering plus venue hire. This minimum applies to all events and makes the venue unsuitable for smaller gatherings.

Venue hire ranges from £3,000 to £3,500 excluding VAT depending on the event type and duration. For example, exclusive venue hire from 6pm-11:30pm costs £3,500 excluding VAT, while conference-style events are quoted at £3,000 excluding VAT.

The Christmas package costs £115-£140 per person excluding VAT with a minimum of 100 guests. It includes exclusive venue hire from 5:30pm-11:00pm, three-course dinner with tea/coffee and petit fours, drinks package (1.5 glasses sparkling wine, ½ bottle wine per person, soft drinks and water), Christmas crackers, and table linen.

Canapés are priced at £25 for 4 pieces, £35 for 6 pieces, or £45 for 8 pieces per person, with additional canapés at £8 each. Three-course dinners cost £88 per person excluding VAT. Drinks packages cost £38-£45 per person for 3 hours unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks with a minimum of 55 guests required.

The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests for reception-style events and up to 200 guests for seated dinners. Theatre-style seating can accommodate up to 100 guests in cabaret layout.

Basic AV equipment including PA system, stage, lectern, microphones, screen and projector are included with venue hire. Full tech support is available for presentations and the venue can accommodate bands and live entertainment.

Events typically run from 5:30pm-11:30pm for evening functions, with some flexibility to extend until midnight or 1am. Day events can run from 8:30am-5:00pm, and conference events from 10am-6pm are accommodated.

The venue accommodates corporate events, dinners, conferences, award ceremonies, and charity functions. Live entertainment including bands, DJs, and dancing are permitted. The venue has experience with specialized events including industry award ceremonies.

Exclusive venue hire includes the main Livery Hall plus access to the Foyer, Luncheon Room, and Courtroom. The venue spans multiple floors with flexible spaces suitable for exhibitions, presentations, and dining configurations.

Quotes are provided based on specific event requirements including guest numbers, catering preferences, and timing. All prices quoted are excluding VAT at 20%. The venue requires confirmation of minimum guest numbers for drinks packages and catering options.
