The Wheatley Room is a spacious, floor to ceiling booklined room which offers plenty of natural day light. The room is based within the Royal Society of Medicine's library with air-conditioning and state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities. The Wheatley Room is ideal for cabaret style corporate meetings, presentations, training and team building. Due to this rooms capacious size with a capacity of up to 60 people, this room can also accommodate theatre and classroom layouts. Refreshments are served at the rear of the room amongst the RSM's exhibition area.

Room rates vary by space and day: Dame Deirdre Hine room £990/day (36 capacity classroom), Marcus Beck Library £900/day (30 capacity U-shape), Wheatley Room £1,800/day (72 cabaret/80 theatre/38 boardroom), Heritage Centre £440/day (17 boardroom). Weekend bookings require minimum £3,000 spend. All prices exclude VAT and have minimum delegate requirements ranging from 10-30 people depending on the room.

All rooms have mandatory minimum delegate numbers for catering: 15 people for most meeting rooms, 30 for Wheatley Room, 90 for auditoriums. Tea/coffee with biscuits costs £4.30 per person per serving, working lunch £26.25 per person, working lunch package (includes 3 tea/coffee breaks) £38.85 per person. External food and drink are strictly prohibited.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am-5:00pm for day events. Evening events can run until 10:00pm maximum with service ending at 10pm to allow guest departure. Weekend availability exists but requires higher minimum spends. The venue is closed on certain dates throughout the year.

Most rooms include LCD screens at no extra cost. Additional equipment available for hire: laptops £150, video conference kit £90-150 (some rooms include this free), flipchart with pens £40, PA system with 2 handheld mics £250, AV technician for full event support £950, hybrid packages £1,000-£3,240 depending on duration.

All quotes are valid for 5 days only. The venue does not automatically hold space when providing quotes - you must specifically request a temporary hold. Site visits are recommended and can be arranged to check room suitability before booking.

Heritage Centre: 17 boardroom (temperature controlled at 20°C). Dame Deirdre Hine: 36 classroom/60 theatre/34 boardroom. Marcus Beck Library: 30 fixed U-shape only. Wheatley Room: 72 cabaret/80 theatre/38 boardroom. Max Rayne Auditorium: 146 theatre. Guy Whittle Auditorium: 298 theatre.

The Heritage Centre is temperature controlled at exactly 20°C to preserve antique books and this cannot be altered. The Marcus Beck Library has a fixed U-shape layout that cannot be changed. No external catering is permitted in any space, and the venue has specific policies about what can be brought on-site.

Working Lunch Package includes 3 tea/coffee breaks plus working lunch for £38.85 per person. Buffet Lunch Package includes 3 tea/coffee breaks plus buffet lunch for £49.95 per person. Day Delegate Packages start from £93-£99 per person (minimum 180 delegates) and include room hire, registration desk, AV technician, multiple catering breaks, lunch, and standard AV equipment.

Multi-day bookings are available Monday-Friday including weekends. For example, a 13-day conference booking (30th November-12th December) was quoted at £990 per day for Dame Deirdre Hine room. However, some extended booking requests may be declined depending on availability and venue suitability for the specific requirements.

Rooms have ethernet ports available and WiFi access. Video conference kits are included in some rooms or available for £90 hire. Hybrid packages range from £1,000-£3,240 depending on complexity and duration. The venue offers live streaming, recording packages, and can connect multiple auditoriums for larger hybrid events.

Located minutes way from Oxford Circus & Bond Street underground stations it is connected to all the major railway stations in London. There are over 15 function spaces including 3 state-of-the-art auditoriums the largest of which holds up to 300 people. There is a large glass roofed atrium perfect for events for up to 200 people.
