The Guy Whittle Auditorium (298 theatre capacity) is included in the Day Delegate Package at £99.00 + VAT per person for Tuesday-Thursday or £93.00 + VAT for Friday-Monday in 2026. The minimum booking is 180 delegates, making the minimum spend £16,020 + VAT for weekdays or £15,066 + VAT for weekends. Weekend hires require a minimum booking of £3,000 + VAT for room hire only.

The auditorium includes a 4K HD projector, vibrant LED lighting, immersive sound system, and a dedicated AV technician for the entire event. There's an AV technician booth at the back for expert technical support. Additional equipment like PA systems with handheld microphones (£250), hybrid packages for streaming (£1,000-£3,240), and laptops (£150) are available for hire.

The venue operates with standard daytime hours, with evening events available until 10pm maximum. Service ends at 10pm to allow guests to wind down for departure. Evening receptions can run from 6:30pm-10pm, and the venue is closed on certain dates throughout the year.

The Day Delegate Package includes arrival tea/coffee with Danish pastries and fruit salad, mid-morning tea/coffee with biscuits and fruit, standing hot or cold fork buffet with salads/tea/coffee/juices, and afternoon tea/coffee with sweet bites and fruit. The package requires a minimum of 180 delegates and all catering has minimum numbers of 90 people for individual items.

No external food or drink is allowed into the venue. All catering must be provided by the in-house kitchen and catering team. This policy applies to all events regardless of size or type.

Quotes are valid for 5 days only. The venue does not automatically hold space when providing quotes - you must specifically request a temporary hold. Site visits can be arranged to check room suitability, and booking confirmation is required within the quote validity period.

The venue offers hybrid packages for live streaming and film recording. Hybrid Package options range from £1,480 + VAT for 2 hours to £3,240 + VAT for 8 hours. Services include streaming via Zoom, website and social media channels, multi-camera mix, slides feed, and video recording with unedited copies available on demand for two weeks.

The Heritage Centre (library space) is temperature controlled at exactly 20°C to preserve antique books and this cannot be altered. Other spaces like the Guy Whittle Auditorium do not have specific temperature restrictions mentioned, but the venue maintains professional climate control throughout.
