Space description
The Generating Chamber is the smaller of our two main spaces at 280sqm. Exposed red brickwork and the retention of period industrial features from it's former use make this a very unique space, with a warm atmosphere ideal for standing receptions or a presentation space.
The Generating Chamber is only available as part of a whole venue hire.

Retaining the features and character of an imposing industrial space, the building began life as a Victorian Power Station in 1896. Located in the heart of Shoreditch & a few minutes walk away from Old Street tube station, these multi-functional spaces are suitable for all types of productions & events. Bigger corporate hires are most welcome!
We are an unusual venue in that the building is also home to the National Centre for Circus Arts - a charity dedicated to supporting circus arts education & development. All revenue from commercial venue hire goes directly to the running of the centre.
