Can I book the Chalet as a standalone space for my meeting?
No, the Chalet can only be rented separately on very rare occasions. It is designed as an add-on space to complement the hire of the New Victorian Loft and/or New White Loft for purposes like catering, break-out sessions, corporate headshots, or event interview filming.
What are the additional hourly rates if my event runs over the 8-hour base hire?
Extra hours are charged at £160+VAT per hour when booking the Chalet with individual spaces, or £320+VAT per hour when booking all Underwood Lofts spaces together. The evening before setup is included in the additional hours pricing.
What catering options are available and what do they cost?
Two refreshment packages are available: unlimited tea, coffee, apple juice, and biscuits for £10.90+VAT per person, or the same plus soft drinks for £14.90+VAT per person. Breakfast starts from £8.90+VAT per person, lunch from £19.99+VAT per person, and individual boxes/bowls from £11+VAT per person, with a 10% service charge applied to all catering.
What AV equipment is available and how much does it cost?
AV equipment is available for additional charges including 85-inch screens at £275+VAT, microphones at £90+VAT, and stage pieces (1m x 2m) at £125+VAT each. The venue can also provide PA systems and other AV equipment upon request.
