The Billiards Room is the perfect space for intimate celebration dinners including anniversary's, birthdays and engagement drinks. Or if you want to have a fun corporate dinner and then play snooker afterwards with drinks this is the perfect space. The room can be hired separately, or can be combined with a number of our other spaces, including our fully stocked Pantry, with snacks, a premium wine fridge and much more.

Frequently asked questions

The Billiard room accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably, with 15 being tight. The Conservatory room can only seat 8-10 guests. For boardroom and U-shape layouts, the venue can accommodate 18 guests comfortably, with the possibility of adding 2 more guests though it may feel tight.

The private dining package costs £100.00 plus VAT per person and includes simple stylish decoration, 1 glass of prosecco on arrival, 3-course dinner (£65.00 set menu), half a bottle of mineral water, half a bottle of house wine, room hire, and cloakroom. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to the final bill.

For drinks reception events, the minimum spend is £2,250.00 plus VAT (reduced from £3,500) plus 12.5% service charge. For other dining events, minimum spend of £2,700 including VAT is mentioned, which is fully inclusive of food and drinks with no additional room hire fees.

Final details must be provided 10 days before the event. A 50% deposit is required to secure the space.

Individual rooms include The Billiard room (up to 14-15 guests), The Conservatory (8-10 seated), and The Gallery (up to 37 in cabaret layout). The Residence area can be booked as a combination including the Pantry, Conservatory, Billiard, Library, Laboratory, and Cellar rooms, accommodating up to 80 people for standing events.

Bronze Reception Package: £47.00 plus VAT per person (1 prosecco, 2 drinks, 3 canapés). Silver Reception Package: £62.00 plus VAT per person (1 prosecco, 3 drinks, 6 canapés). Gold Reception Package: £82.00 plus VAT per person (1 champagne, 3 drinks, 3 canapés, 3 bowl foods). All packages include staff, room hire, cloakroom, plasma screen, and WiFi.

Corkage charges are £30.00 per bottle for bringing your own wine or champagne.

The venue does not host 18th birthday parties. Events are declined if they don't meet the venue's standards or budget requirements, with the venue maintaining discretion over which events are suitable for their space.
