What is the pricing structure for The New White Loft and what's included in the base hire?

The New White Loft costs £2,750+VAT for up to 8 hours of hire. Extra hours are charged at £160+VAT per hour. If you combine it with the Palm Room, the total cost is £3,750+VAT with extra hours at £320+VAT per hour. The base hire includes the space only - all catering, AV equipment, and additional services are charged separately.

What are the capacity limits for different seating arrangements in The New White Loft?

The New White Loft can accommodate a maximum of 120 people in theatre style, 100 people in cabaret style, or 150 people for standing events. The space is 2,092 sq ft and located on the third floor of the building.

What catering options are available and what do they cost?

Two refreshment packages are available: unlimited tea, coffee, apple juice and biscuits at £10.90+VAT per person, or the same plus soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, San Pellegrino) at £14.90+VAT per person. Breakfast starts from £8.90+VAT per person, lunch from £19.99+VAT per person, and individual boxes/bowls from £11+VAT per person. A 10% service charge is applied to all catering.

What AV equipment is available and how much does it cost?

85-inch Smart TV screens cost £275+VAT each, microphones are £45+VAT each (or £90+VAT for multiple), and stage pieces (1m x 2m) cost £125+VAT each. The venue can provide PA systems, projectors, and other AV equipment for additional charges upon request.

Can I book The New White Loft with other spaces at Underwood Lofts?

Yes, you can combine spaces. The New White Loft can be booked with the Palm Room (2nd floor) for £3,750+VAT for 8 hours. The entire Underwood Lofts (including New White Loft, New Victorian Loft, and The Chalet) costs £4,950+VAT for 8 hours, with extra hours at £320+VAT per hour including evening setup.

What are the minimum room sizes available if I need a smaller space?

The smallest space available is The Palm Room, which is designed for around 50 people minimum and costs £1,850+VAT per day (or £1,250+VAT for reduced capacity events). The venue doesn't offer small meeting rooms suitable for very small groups - they specialize in larger corporate events.

Is there access to setup the evening before my event?

Yes, evening setup is available and is included in the extra hours charge of £160+VAT per hour for The New White Loft alone, or £320+VAT per hour when booking multiple spaces. This allows you to prepare your event space without rushing on the day of your event.

What are the transport links and accessibility features?

The venue is located 6-8 minutes walk from Old Street station on the third floor of Underwood Works. The building is fully DDA compliant with modern reception area, two passenger lifts, cycle storage facilities, air conditioning, and wheelchair-friendly bathrooms.

Are there any restrictions on event types or timing?

The venue is suitable for corporate events, conferences, product launches, creative workshops, networking events, and similar business functions. Weekend rates may differ from weekday pricing, and the venue appears to focus on daytime and early evening corporate events rather than late-night parties.

What happens if my preferred dates aren't available?

If your specific dates aren't available, the venue team will help find alternative dates or suggest other Lumiere venues that might suit your needs. They have multiple locations across London and will work to accommodate your requirements where possible.
