Space description
The Creation Studio is purpose built for circus, theatre and dance. It is adjacent to the Combustion Chamber and has multiple doors that connect the two rooms.
It is an ideal space for a break out room, meeting room or catering prep area. With huge windows, it has plenty of natural light or can be made fully dark with our blackout curtains.
There is also direct access to a smaller courtyard which is great for load in/out and deliveries.
The Creation Studio is available as part of a whole building hire and can be added on to a part hire at an extra cost.

Retaining the features and character of an imposing industrial space, the building began life as a Victorian Power Station in 1896. Located in the heart of Shoreditch & a few minutes walk away from Old Street tube station, these multi-functional spaces are suitable for all types of productions & events. Bigger corporate hires are most welcome!
We are an unusual venue in that the building is also home to the National Centre for Circus Arts - a charity dedicated to supporting circus arts education & development. All revenue from commercial venue hire goes directly to the running of the centre.
